CAP Tulsa, a community action agency, is focused on interrupting the cycle of poverty. They provide high-quality early education services for young children, as well as a range of supportive services designed to improve the economic status of their parents.

The Brief:

While working as a designer at GMMB in Washington, D.C., I worked on a marketing campaign for CAP Tulsa to encourage people of poverty to sign up for career training in the medical field.

The Approach:

Our idea was to be bold and to catch the eye as soon as people saw the poster. We decided to use bold, eye-catching colors, fonts, images, and text size. Along with posters, we also created ads on Facebook to target our audience.

The Impact:

The advertising successfully reached eligible parents in the Tulsa area to inform them about training opportunities in health care careers. It was very rewarding to see tangible results: an increased number of parents signing up for training and to help them towards a successful, long-term health care career.
